Knights rally late to tie Mercy, 6-6

Queens College rallied twice late in the game to tie Mercy College, 6-6, in 10 innings on Friday afternoon. Catcher Jared Stoler went four for five with a homer and two RBI's for the Knights in a home game played on Mercy's field in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Luis Rojas hit a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to tie the game up for the Knights at 5 apiece. Julian Tosada hit a sac fly give Mercy back the lead in the top of the ninth but QC rallied to knot the game in the bottom half of the inning. Jovan Santos and Joe Pento started the rally with consecutive singles. Santos advanced to third on a fly out to left by Mike Sporton, then scored on a single by Justin McKay to even the score at 6.

Jamie Quinn had three hits while McKay and Rojas each had a hit and a RBI for the Knights.
