Lead off hitter David Fisher had a single, double and a home run in the Knights 7-6 loss at Bridgeport in their 2010 season finale. Fisher also stole his league leading 28th base in the contest.

Bridgeport scored six times in their last at bat to beat the Knights, 8-7, in game two of a doubleheader on Saturday in Connecticut. Matt Salvatore and Rob Bernardo each had a pair of hits in the loss. UB shut out the Knights in the opener, 3-0.

Senior Day success behind 4 hit gem by O'Neill
Robert O'Neill tossed a complete game four hitter to guide the Knights to a 3-1 win over Bridgeport on Senior Day in Flushing. O'Neill fanned seven and allowed no earned runs in the last home game for teammates Arik Abrams, Neil Napolitano, Jeffrey Gomez, Brian Friedman and David Fisher.

Knights win it in the ninth, 7-6
Rob Bernardo scored on an error with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to give Queens College a 7-6 win over the University of Bridgeport in the opener of a five game set on Wednesday. Kyle Contino picked up the win for QC with four and two thirds of solid work out of the bullpen.

Pitchers rule the day in QC split with Bloomfield
Pitchers surrendered just five runs in 20 innings in the split of a twin bill between Queens College and Bloomfield College. Robert O'Neill of the Knights picked up a 2-0 win by hurling a complete game, five hitter in the opener while Bloomfield scored a run in the eleventh to take game two, 2-1.

Fisher and Friedman fuel Knights fifth straight win
David Fisher's offense and Brian Friedman's pitching were the key ingredients in QC's 3-2 win over Dominican College. Fisher had three hits and stole four bases and Friedman pitched a complete game five hitter to improve his record to 2-4 to fuel the Knights fifth straight victory.

The Knights extended their win streak to four games by beating Dominican College, 7-6, in non-conference action on Tuesday. The two clubs will meet again on Thursday at Queens College.

Bernardo earns third Rookie award
After helping his team to their series win of the season, second baseman Robert Bernardo was named East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for the third time in 2010. Bernardo was also honored on March 1st and March 8th.

Sunday sweep of Mercy gives QC first season series win of 2010
The Knights took both ends of a double dip with Mercy College, 3-1 and 6-5, in East Coast Conference action on Sunday in Flushing. Arik Abrams pitched a two-hitter in the opener and Wei Chang came through with the game winning hit in the nightcap to give QC a three games to two series win over Mercy.

Knights turn the tables on Mercy, win 5-4
Less than 24 hours after suffering a heartbreaking loss to Mercy, Queens College rebounded by beating the Flyers by an identical 5-4 score. Warren Kelly was three for three and Robert O'Neill went 8 and 2/3 to help the Knights to their sixth ECC win of the year.

Knights drop opener of five game series to Mercy, 10-2
Jeffrey Gomez had two hits and an RBI in the Knights 10-2 loss to ECC rival Mercy College in a Prostate Cancer Awareness Week match-up. Both teams wore blue arm bands to draw attention to the fight for a cure for prostate cancer.

During the week of April 12, all East Coast Conference baseball teams will designate one home contest as their “Prostate Cancer Awareness” game. The Queens College Knights hope to raise awareness and funds for this cause when they take on Mercy College on Wednesday, April 14th at 3:30pm. A suggested $2 donation will be collected at the gate.

Wei Chang's two out single in the ninth drove home Kurt Doerbecker with the game winning run in a 6-5, come from behind victory over C.W. Post in Flushing in the first of a five game series between the two clubs. The hit capped a four run Knights' rally in their final at bat.

The Knights offense produced a season high 12 hits in a 13-5 loss to Savannah Art & Design on Wednesday evening at the 2010 Savannah Invitational. David Fisher had a single, a double and a stolen base and Tom Mercatante had two hits and two runs batted in for QC, who have now lost three straight after opening the season with two victories.
