• Buckmire one of three recipients of prestigious ECC award

    Brian Buckmire of the Men's Soccer team was one of three recipients of the East Coast Conference Excellence in Community and Character Award at the ECC Awards Dinner on June 9th. Simona Bartkova of Dowling and Chris Munoz of STAC shared the award with Buckmire.

    Playoff bound Queens College defeated visiting Mercy College, 3-2, in a game originally scheduled for Wednesday at Mercy. The Knights' playoff ticket had been punched 24 hours earlier when NYIT was beaten by Molloy.

    The Knights defeated the College of St. Rose, 1-0, on Sunday in Albany, New York on a goal by Daniel Stoker in the 87th minute. The win gives QC 10 for the year against six loses and drops St. Rose to 2-14-1.
