Jeremy Cuebas Selected as Men's Swimming and Diving Head Coach
Queens College acting director of athletics, Brian DeMasters announced recently the hiring of Jeremy Cuebas as head men’s swimming and diving coach. Cuebas, a native of Brentwood, L.I., N.Y., comes to the Knights’ program after serving the last two-plus years as assistant swimming and diving coach at his alma mater – SUNY Cortland.

Swimming and Diving Plays Host to Make-A-Wish Fundraiser
The Queens College men’s and women’s swimming and diving, and men’s water polo teams recently gave back to the local community, as it played host to a novice swim meet on March 19. All of the $275 in proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The Queens College Men’s Swim team traveled to So. Connecticut for their second meet in as many days. However, the Knights did not fair so well and were edged out by So. Connecticut by the score of 109-83.

Women's Swimming Tops Lehman 132-92
The Queens College Women’s swim team traveled to Lehman College and came away with another victory, topping Lehman 132-92. The victory evens their win and loss record 4-4 for the year.

Men's Swimming Tops Lehman 118-107
The Queens College men’s swim team collected their first victory of the season Monday night when they took on Lehman College. The Knights won the meet by a score of 118-107 which improves their record to 1-6.

Knights compete in U.S.M.M.A Invitational
The Knights swimming and diving team traveled to the US Merchant Marine Academy to compete against Southern Connecticut, Bridgeport, Adelphi, USMMA and Maritime Saturday, Nov.20th at the Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY.The Men and Women placed top 8 in 19 out of 32 events.

Men's Swimming Comes Up Short at Bridgeport
Though Queens College came up short in their 87-104 loss at Bridgeport today, the team posted impressive times for the first meet of the year. The men earned 4 second place finishes in individual races and won first place in the 200 Free Relay.
