FLUSHING, N.Y. – The Queens College men's tennis team snapped NYIT's 29-match East Coast Conference (ECC) winning streak with an 8-1 victory over the defending conference champion Bears at the QC Tennis Center on Wednesday. It was the fourth straight win for the Knights, who improve to 6-0 at home, 5-0 in the region and 3-0 in the ECC.

Nawghre kept the momentum going into singles play, as he rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win at second singles. Mendez added a 7-5, 6-2 win at third singles, while Richard Sec collected a 7-5, 6-1 win in the fourth position. Jubera cruised to victory at No. 5 in a 6-0, 6-1 decision, and Laga captured a 6-1, 6-4 win in the sixth spot.
