    Two members of the Queens College women's soccer team were named to All-ECC teams for their performances during the 2016 campaign. Junior forward Erin Vernillo (Smithtown, N.Y.) and junior goalkeeper Nicole Cranny (Abbeyleix, Ireland) were eached recognized on the All-ECC Third Team.

    On Wednesday evening, the Queens College women's soccer team dropped a 9-0 decision to the Purple Knights of University of Bridgeport in East Coast Conference action. With the loss, the Knights moved to 4-11-1 overall, 1-5-1 in ECC play, while the Purple Knights remained undefeated in conference action, 7-0, and improved their overall mark to 13-3.

    With goals from juniors Erin Vernillo and Haley Gibbons and freshman Brooke Delano, the Queens College women’s soccer team picked up a 3-1 victory over Concordia in mid-week action Tuesday afternoon at QC Soccer Field. The game marked the final non-conference match of the season for the Knights, who now sit at 4-9-1 overall on the year.

    Junior Erin Vernillo scored her team leading fifth goal of the season in the Queens College women's soccer team's 2-1 overtime loss to Georgian Court. Trailing 1-0, the Lions scored the tying goal in the 53rd minute before netting the game-winner with two minutes remaining in the second overtime. With the loss, the Knights moved to 3-8-1, while the Lions improved 8-3-1.

    In sunny conditions Thursday afternoon, junior Erin Vernillo opened the scoring to propel the Queens College women’s soccer team to a 3-0 triumph over the visiting Warriors of Nyack College in non-conference action. With the win, Queens College improved to 3-7-1 on the season, while Nyack College moved to 4-7.
