Women's Swimming and Diving Falls to C.W. Post

The Queens College women's swimming and diving program fell by a 113-90 count to visiting C.W. Post, Wednesday night at Fitzgerald Natatorium.

The Knights (0-2) saw numerous personal bests set during the meet, as the young squad continues to gel in the early season. Freshman Sonya Robinson (Arverne, N.Y.) won the one-meter diving competition (109.80 points), while junior Sissi Ribeiro (Sao Lourenco, Brazil) touched the wall in a second-place time of 1:04.13 in the 100-yard butterfly. Meanwhile, the 200-yard freestyle relay of freshman Marisol Guzman (Elmhurst, N.Y.), junior Briana Meehan (Levittown, N.Y.), freshman Emina Kadrich (Astoria, N.Y.) and senior Angela Parra (Sunnyside, N.Y.) swam to a time of 1:55.05.

Head coach Alicia Lampasso-Dillon's Queens team is back in action Friday (Nov. 4), when they travel to Pace University for a 6 p.m. start.
