Avila Completes Cross Country Career at NCAA Division II Championships

SPOKANE, Wash. - Queens (N.Y.) College senior standout, Indira Avila completed her illustrious season at the NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Championships Saturday afternoon at Plantes Ferry Athletic Complex, braving the snowy conditions to complete the course in a time of 24:02.9.

Avila was the East Coast Conference Runner of the Year this season after winning the conference championships, and qualified for the national meet by placing third at the Nov. 6, NCAA Div. II East Regional Championship in Boston.
